Personally I specialise in telling stories through still images. If you do however want a videographer in addition to your wedding photography then I can recommend professional and trusted videographers and filmmakers.
Primarily I work on my own. However after discussing your photography requirements, a second photographer can be arranged if needed.
Yes, If an Engagement Shoot is something you’ve seen and want then it would be great to get something arranged. Engagement shoots can be booked at any point leading up to your wedding, just let me know what you’d like to do and where you’d like to go and we’ll get it all sorted.
I have Professional Indemnity and Public Liability cover in place. You might also like to know that I carry back ups for all the equipment I use to photograph your wedding, from memory cards to cameras and lenses.
You’ll receive the contract before you book. The contract will confirm the wedding photography coverage you’ve requested. It will also explain what my responsibilities to you are before, during and after your wedding. The booking is confirmed when I receive the signed contract along with a 25% deposit. The final payment is not required until 30 days before your wedding day.
Very straight forward. Use the contact tab and I’ll get in touch at a suitable time for you. Once we’ve discussed your requirements for your wedding photography and you’re happy you have the coverage you need then I’ll send you all the relevant info.
The majority of my couples prefer to do consultations over Skype or by phone as it fits in with their busy lifestyle. When shooting International or Destination Weddings Skype is most likely the only way we’ll actually meet before we fly out to the destination. The added benefit to this is you don’t have to make that mad rush to tidy up the house.
I’ll travel to wherever I’m needed. Being based in the Midlands means that most areas outside of Derbyshire are easily accessible so I provide wedding photography throughout the UK. You’ll also see from my galleries that I also work internationally for Destination Weddings.
Definitely. Your wedding album is one the most important keepsakes from your wedding. It’s a beautiful way to present your pictures and show off one of the most important days of your life to your friends and family. Your wedding album is something that will pass on to your children and their children too. Albums can be purchased on booking or up to 12 months after you’ve received your final photographs.
Yes, you can share access to the viewing gallery and slideshow with your friends and family. They’ll be able to purchase prints, books and albums directly through the viewing gallery.
You’ll receive an access code to a private viewing gallery where you’ll be able to see all of your images. In addition to this you’ll also receive a slideshow of your wedding set to music.
I like to make sure I give your wedding photographs the attention they deserve so you can expect to see all of your edited images within four to six weeks after your wedding day. I understand that you’ll be very excited, as will your family and friends so I will look to get a few previews over to you a few days after your wedding.
If you have certain formal group photos that you require we will talk through these and arrange for them to happen at the right time during your day. I do aim to take the formal photos as efficiently as possible so that you can get back to celebrating with your friends and family.
When it comes to details, these will no doubt be important to you and I will dedicate the time and attention they deserve. You don’t see many of these on my website because I’m drawn to photographing people and I love to show this off. However these will be included within your wedding album and high resolution files.
When shooting weddings I look to tell a story in every photograph I take. I’m drawn to photographing people and their interactions in an honest and creative way and this is what you’ll see within my galleries. I don’t lose sight of all the other details that help to make a wedding unique, providing you with photographs that you’ll love.
I guess my love for photography came when I was studying Journalism at university, however I didn’t go straight into wedding photography after leaving university. Instead I worked for a bank as a trainer and later a team manager. On weekends I started picking up the camera again, photographed my first wedding and you could say one thing led to another.
